SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Eyes - Can cause irritation but injury is unlikely. Skin - Can cause irritation. An allergic skin reaction (e.g. rash, itching, reddening) can occur with some individuals. Inhalation - No effects expected. Exposure to heated vapors can cause irritation. Ingestion - Not considered to be a route of exposure. Effects of ingestion have not been determined

HANDLING AND STORING PRECAUTIONS: Store in a cool, dry area. Keep from freezing. Store between 60° and 90° F. For industrial use only. Keep out of reach of children. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not get into the eyes. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with the skin. Practice good hygiene; i.e. wash after using and before eating or smoking.

KNOWN HAZARDS: None expected from normal use of this product. Excess exposure to dusts by inhalation for extended periods of time can lead to the development of pulmonary diseases including pneumoconiosis such as silicosis.

CARCINOGENICITY: IARC has classified respirable silica (sand, CAS No. 14808-60-7) as Group 2A based on studies of quarry and foundry workers. The use of this product does not pose a cancer risk; however, wearing a NIOSH-approved dust mask in any dusty situations will reduce the potential for exposure to silica.
